Spring 2026 Math Competition

Our upcoming spring competition will have an in-person and an online version! However, you may only compete in one.

The in-person contest will take place on Sunday, April 26th, 2026from 9AM - 2:00PM (PST). It will be hosted at the Cambrian Library in San Jose, CA. There will be free lunch offered!

The online contest will tae place on Sunday, May 16th, 2026 from 9 AM - 1:30 PM (PST). Our competition will take place online over Zoom.

Who can Participate?

This competition is designed for individuals that identify as girls and non-binary students affected by (trans)misogyny.

NOTE: YOU DON’T HAVE TO RESIDE IN BAY AREA TO PARTICIPATE :) Even if you are planning on taking another INTEGIRLS chapter’s competition, INTEGIRLS Bay Area creates our own test problems, so you are 100% allowed to participate in our competition as well.

Format of the Competition

Each contestant competes in either the middle school or high school division. All rounds will be a combination of number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and algebra.

  1. Individual Round: 15 questions to be solved in 45 minutes

  2. Guts Round: 7 sets of 3 problems

  3. Tiebreaker Round: 3 problems to be solved in 15 minutes

What is needed for the Competition

  1. Pencil or Pen

  2. Scratch Paper

  3. Electronic device with a webcam

  4. Access to a printer, pdf reader, or web browser

Teams for the Competition

The competition requires a team of 1 to 4 people. Your team members must be participating in the same division as you. If you are in a team where there is someone in another division, you must participate in their division.
