Grace Gao
(President)
Hi! I’m Grace, a junior at American High School.
I have done math competitions since sixth grade, participating in competitions like AIME, SMT, and BMT. I love the challenge of solving interesting math problems and exploring new theorems and proofs. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to contribute to a supportive and growing community of girls in STEM. Outside of math, I enjoy painting, playing tennis, and coding in my free time.
Elaine Xu

I’m Elaine, a senior at The Harker School. I’ve loved math since I was young and have been doing contests throughout middle and high school. I enjoy math most when I get to share it, whether that’s through teaching, writing problems, or solveing problems with friends. Probability is my favorite area of math, and I’m also interested in how math connects with other subjects such as computer science and economics. Outside of STEM, I enjoy playing a cool instrument called the viola, as well as games like Tractor and Pokemon Go!
Alena Kutsuk

Hello! I’m Alena, a senior at Mountain View High School. I’ve been doing math competitions since elementary school, and due to my love for math, I decided to join INTEGIRLS to give back to the problem-solving community! I fell in love with the elegance and creativity of math problem-solving, and also with the vibrant community around this subject. My favorite subject is discrete (combinatorics and number theory). My goal is to encourage other young girls to also find a place for themselves in this community.
Anandita

Hi! I’m Anandita, a junior at Khan Lab School. I started participating in math competitions in middle school and have since competed in the AMCs, AIME, SMT, and BMT. I love the creativity of math and the excitement of finding a new way to approach a challenging problem. I also attended the G2 Math Program, where I enjoyed exploring higher math in a supportive community of girls. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to encourage more girls to pursue math and help create a community where they can learn, challenge themselves, and support one another. Outside of math, I enjoy coding, playing volleyball, and writing poetry!
Gowri

Hi! I’m Gowri, a junior at Leland High School. I’ve loved math for as long as I can remember, and competitions have been a huge part of that journey. Over the years, I’ve competed in AMC, AIME, Math Prize for Girls, BMT, and SMT, and every contest has taught me something new about problem solving (and about staying calm under pressure!). I also love exploring math beyond competitions. Studying mathematical logic through Johns Hopkins CTY showed me how beautiful and creative proofs can be, and it made me even more excited to keep learning higher math. In my free time, I compete in various science competitions and love creating tech content for my social media. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to help younger girls discover how fun and rewarding math can be and build the confidence to pursue it!
Janet Guan

Hi! I’m Janet, a junior at Mission San Jose High School. Math, especially competition math, has been a large part of my life for quite a while now. Participating in contests like the AMCs and AIME as well as programs like G2 has helped me grow as a problem solver, build invaluable friendships, and discover new fields closely linked to math. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to empower more girls and nonbinary individuals to explore opportunities in math and thrive in their journeys. Outside of math, I enjoy listening to music, journaling, and reading any books that pique my interest.

Hii! I’m Stella, a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School. I’ve been interested in math for several years and I love working through problems and finding new ways to approach them. I’ve participated in various math competitions including the AMC series and MMT. I also love exploring higher math and proofs through summer programs like MathPath. Beyond math, I enjoy playing piano and playing tennis, as well as listening to music. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to share my love for math and help foster a community where girls can explore their interests, challenge themselves, and connect with others who share the same passion.

Hi! I’m Sanaz, a freshman at Lynbrook High School. For the past few years, I’ve had a growing passion and interest in math, especially geometry, which led me to compete in several math competitions such as the AMC series, and also local invitational competitions. Throughout the years I’ve spent attending lectures and going to competitions, I noticed that the amount of girls was always an obvious minority. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to change this and help more girls step up and excel at their goals in math. Apart from math, I also play chess and run cross country.

Hi! I’m Srinika, and I’m a sophomore at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. I enjoy participating in many different math competitions, and I’ve attended countless competitions since fifth grade, such as tournaments hosted by some of America’s top universities, the AMC series, Canadian competitions, and many more. My favorite field is sequences and series. With my role in INTEGIRLS, I hope to captivate and inspire many young girls out there to join in competitive mathematics! Some other hobbies I enjoy are music, video games, and spending time with friends.
