Meet Our Team!

Ryka Chopra

(President)

Hi! I’m Ryka, a senior at Mission San Jose High School. I’ve been interested in STEM for a long time, and I have participated in math competitions such as Math Prize for Girls and USAMO. Aside from math, I also do competitive programming and research and science competitions. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to help inspire more young girls to study different fields in STEM. Outside of academics, I enjoy watching crime shows and sitcoms, going on walks, and listening to music.

Anna Deng

(President)

Hi! I’m Anna, a senior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. I am passionate about problem-solving, participating in contests like AIME, Math Prize for Girls, and CMO. I also love proofs and higher math as a past student of PROMYS, G2 Math Program, and Euler Circle! Through INTEGIRLS I aspire to help foster an empowering math community for girls and nonbinary individuals while encouraging them to uncover the beauty of math! Aside from math, I enjoy figure skating, listening to music, tinkering with AI, and reading anything.

Anika Rajaram

(Vice President)

Hi! I'm Anika, a senior at The Harker School. I started doing competition math in middle school, and since then, I've participated in competitions such as USAMO and Math Prize for Girls and received the MAA Young Women in Mathematics Prize. I also love exploring higher math and proofs through experiences like the Ross Mathematics Program. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to share my love for math with other girls and foster an inclusive community where they can develop their passion for STEM. Other than math, I enjoy chess, coding, and playing the violin.

Elaine Xu

(Operations Lead)

Hi! I’m Elaine, a junior at The Harker School. I’ve loved math since I was young and have been doing contests like AMC throughout middle and high school. I enjoy math most when I get to share it, whether that’s through teaching, writing problems, or participating in competitions with friends. Combinatorics is my favorite area of math, and I’m also interested in how math connects with AI and computer science. Outside of STEM, I enjoy playing a cool instrument called the viola, as well as games like Tractor and Pokemon Go.

Alena Kutsuk

(Operations Lead)

Hello! I’m Alena and I’m a junior at Mountain View High School. I’ve done math competitions since elementary school, and my favorite subjects in math are combinatorics and number theory. I’ve done the MAA competitions as well as Math Prize for Girls and MPFG Olympiad, and I also attended G2 (Girls Together) Math Program. I also like to make art using math on Desmos Graphing Calculator in my free time. Apart from math, I’m passionate about drawing, painting, engineering and architecture.

Janet Guan

(Outreach Lead)

Hi! I’m Janet, a junior at Mission San Jose High School. Math, especially competition math, has been a large part of my life for quite a while now. Participating in contests like the AMCs and AIME as well as programs like G2 has helped me grow as a problem solver, build invaluable friendships, and discover new fields closely linked to math. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to empower more girls and nonbinary individuals to explore opportunities in math and thrive in their journeys. Outside of math, I enjoy listening to music, journaling, and reading any books that pique my interest.

Lisa Zheng

(Technology Lead)

Hi! I’m Lisa, a senior at Maria Carrillo High School. I find lots of joy in tackling challenging math problems in AMC, AIME, SMT, and BMT and aim to share that same opportunity with younger girls. I also like working out cool proofs in my amazing experiences at PROMYS and SUMaC. In my free time I love drawing, reading, trying new Starbucks drinks, and programming.

Chloe So

(Sponsorship Lead)

Hi! I'm Chloe, a junior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. I love competing in math competitions, including AIME, SMT, and BMT, and thinking through problems. I also enjoy discovering clean and elegant proofs, which I've had the opportunity to do through PROMYS and Euler Circle. I hope to share my love for math with other girls exposed to fewer opportunities through INTEGIRLS. Besides math, I love dance, piano, music, and going outside!

Grace Gao

(Sponsorship Lead)

Hello! I’m Grace, a sophomore at American High School. I have done math competitions since sixth grade, participating in competitions like AIME, SMT, and BMT. I love the challenge of solving interesting math problems and exploring new theorems and proofs. Through INTEGIRLS, I hope to contribute to a supportive and growing community of girls in STEM. Outside of math, I enjoy painting, playing tennis, and coding in my free time.
